Anode‐supported solid oxide fuel cells with multilayer LSC/CGO/LSC cathode
Fuel Cells, 2021AbstractThe multilayer La0.6Sr0.4CoO3/Ce0.9Gd0.1O2/La0.6Sr0.4CoO3 (LSC/CGO/LSC) thin film cathode of the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) with the different thickness of the LSC and CGO layers are obtained by magnetron sputtering. Cathodes are deposited onto the NiO/8YSZ anode‐supported 8YSZ/CGO bilayer electrolyte.

Immediate Post-Arrest Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS) is a serious circumstance that must be managed quickly and efficiently to guarantee the mother's and fetus's well- being. This emergency situation occurs when a pregnant woman has a cardiac arrest, prompting rapiddelivery to enhance maternal and foetal prognosis.

Effect of guanidine on the growth of LSc poliovirus
Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1972The presence of 3 mM guanidine between the 2nd and 4th h of the poliovirus growth cycle results in a 4-h delay in viral growth, rather than the anticipated 2-h delay. For the first 90 min after removing guanidine the rate of synthesis of viral RNA is the same at both 35C and 39C.

Targeting LSCs: powering an old tool
Blood, 2008In this issue of Blood , Hassane and colleagues describe the discovery of new therapeutic agents effective against leukemic initiating cells through an in silico approach, demonstrating the power of collective knowledge deposited in publicly available gene-expression databases.

Standardization of 18F by coincidence and LSC methods
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2006The nuclide 18F disintegrates to 18O by beta+ emission (96.86%) and electron capture (3.14%) with a half-life of 1.8288 h. It is widely used in nuclear medicine for positron emission tomography (PET). A radioactive solution of this nuclide has been standardized by two techniques: coincidence measurements with a pressurized proportional counter and ...

LSC measurements of the half-life of 40K
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2004Liquid scintillation counting techniques combined with the CIEMAT/NIST method have been applied to measure the specific activity of natural potassium salts. Samples have been prepared with three different scintillators. The individual atomic composition as well as the density of the cocktails have been taken into account for the efficiency calculation.

Half-life determination of 40K by LSC
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2002The long-lived radioisotope 40K is one of the isotopes applied by geologists to date rocks hundreds or even thousands of millions of years old. Knowing the half-life of 40K, the potassium-argon (K-Ar) method gives an estimate of the date of the rock's formation by measuring the quantity of the daughter stable isotope 40Ar.

Formal Verification of LSCs in the Development Process
2004This paper presents how a model-based development process can be enhanced by the combination of using Live Sequence Charts (LSC) as the formal language to describe interactions together with automatic formal verification techniques that decide whether communication sequences are exhibitable or adhered to by the system.

With recent advances in Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) architecture and design, the robustness and scalability of design implementation tools is becoming increasingly important. In an FPGA implementation flow, the basic logic elements (BLEs) like flip-flops (FFs) and lookup tables (LUTs) are clustered into adaptive logic modules (ALMs) and Logic ...
