Solvatochromism of isatin based Schiff bases: An LSER and LFER study [PDF]
The derivatives of isatin have already been reported to show a variety of biological activities. However, there has been no report on solvatochromic effect of isatin derivatives so far, and that could be of interest to study and relate to their ...

Local-Source Enhanced Residual Network for Steganalysis of Digital Images
Steganalysis refers to the study of identifying hidden messages in images inserted by steganography. Although detection performance is greatly improved when adopting convolutional neural networks (CNNs), they require sophisticated tricks, such as ...

Budesonide Solubility in 2-Propanol+ Water Mixtures at T = (293.2 to 313.2) K: Experimental Measurement, Thermodynamic Analysis and Mathematical Modeling [PDF]
A shake-flask method was used to investigate the solubility and thermodynamic properties of budesonide (BDS) in the temperature scope of 293.2-313.22 K in aqueous mixtures of 2-propanol.

N-(substituted phenyl)-2-chloroacetamides: LSER and LFER study [PDF]
AbstractThe UV absorption spectra of twelve N-(substituted phenyl)-2-chloroacetamides were recorded in eighteen solvents. The effect of specific and non-specific solvent–solute interactions on the absorption maxima shifts was evaluated by using the Kamlet–Taft solvent parameter set, i.e. applying linear solvation energy relationships (LSER) principles.

Abstract The variety of polymers utilized in medical devices demands for testing of extractables and leachables according to ISO 10993‐18:2020 in combination with ISO 10993‐1:2018. The extraction of the materials involves the use of organic solvents as well as aqueous buffers to cover a wide range of polarity and pH‐values, respectively.

Within this review, we thoroughly explored supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) columns used across > 3000 papers published from the first study carried out under SFC conditions in 1962 to the end of 2022. We focused on the open tubular capillary, packed capillary, and packed columns, their chemistries, dimensions, and trends in used stationary ...
