High Thermoelectric Performance Achieved by Manipulating the Band Structure and Lattice Dislocations in n‐Type Ge/Pb/Br Codoped Polycrystalline SnSe

Pb/Ge/Br codoping in n‐type polycrystalline SnSe induces band convergence and high‐density dislocations, yielding a high power factor of 7.47 μW cm−1 K−2 and ultralow lattice thermal conductivity. Consequently, a peak ZT of 1.6 is achieved, overcoming the traditional performance limitations of n‐type SnSe.

Room Temperature Wafer‐Scale Synthesis of Highly Transparent and Conductive p‐Type Sulfur‐Doped Copper Iodide

ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale, room temperature synthesis of S‐doped CuI achieves high‐performance transparent p‐type electrodes. Pre‐doping enables precise control of crystallinity and hole density, yielding 86% transmittance and 75 Ω sq−1 sheet resistance. A record‐high figure of merit of 95 000 MΩ−1 and excellent flexibility across diverse substrates are demonstrated.

Phase Engineering Enabled Excellent Power Factor and Reduced Thermal Conductivity in ZrCoSb‐Based Half‐Heusler Compounds

ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
In situ precipitation of Zr6Co16Si7 in ZrCoSb‐based half‐Heusler enables Fermi level optimization and enhanced phonon scattering. Electrical conductivity is significantly improved while the power factor continuously increases, reaching ~3.36 mW m−1 K−2.

Short‐term clinical responses in horses and ponies treated with canagliflozin: A clinical field study

Abstract Background Treatment with the sodium‐glucose co‐transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor canagliflozin in insulin dysregulated (ID) horses has shown promising results in randomised clinical trials. Larger field studies are needed to further evaluate treatment responses and potential adverse effects under real‐world conditions.
