Proceedings of the XSEDE16 Conference on Diversity, Big Data, and Science at Scale, 2016
In recent years, big data analysis has been widely applied to many research fields including biology, physics, transportation, and material science. Even though the demands for big data migration and big data analysis are dramatically increasing in campus IT infrastructures, there are several technical challenges that need to be addressed. First of all,

The LSU Reciprocation-Gait Orthosis
Orthopedics, 1983ABSTRACT: The LSU reciprocation-gait orthosis is a lightweight bracing device that gives structural support to the lower trunk and lower limbs of the paralytic patient while allowing, through a cable-coupling system, proper hip joint motion for walking.

IN THE WAKE OF Hurricane Gustav, chemistry faculty at Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, describe a campus littered with downed trees and power lines, although the department itself sustained relatively little major damage. The “power lines look like plates of spaghetti,” says John W. Finley, a chemistry professor at LSU.

Phylogenetic analysis of mitochondrial LSU rRNA in oniscids
Comptes Rendus de l'Académie des Sciences - Series III - Sciences de la Vie, 2000The phylogenetic relationships among oniscids (Crustacea, Isodopa) remain contradictory despite numerous morphological studies. We have investigated them using molecular data. Partial sequences of the mitochondrial LSU rRNA gene were obtained from 42 species of aquatic and terrestrial crustaceans from 31 genera.
