Threshold Receiver Model for Throughput of Wireless Devices with MIMO and Frequency Diversity Measured in Reverberation Chamber [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We present a simple theoretical model for the throughput data rate of a wireless LTE device including the improvements of data rate due to diversity in frequency (OFDM) and spatial domains (MIMO) under frequency selective fading.

Simulating LTE/LTE-Advanced Networks with SimuLTE

open access: yes, 2015
In this work we present SimuLTE, an OMNeT++-based simulator for LTE and LTE-Advanced networks. Following well-established OMNeT++ programming practices, SimuLTE exhibits a fully modular structure, which makes it easy to be extended, verified, and integrated. Moreover, it inherits all the benefits of such a widely used and versatile simulation framework

4G LTE and LTE-Advanced using Simulation

open access: yesIOSR Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2014
In this paper, the performance of Long term evolution (LTE) based on orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) is investigated which uses multiple input, multiple output technique (MIMO). This paper gives an peak to power average ratio (PAPR) analysis of MIMO performance along with OFDMA modulation using Matlab of the next generation ...

Integrated LEO Constellation and In‐Cabin Distribution System for Continuous Aircraft 5G Connectivity

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The integration of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations with commercial aircraft communication systems presents critical challenges in maintaining continuous connectivity during dynamic flight conditions. Current geostationary satellite systems suffer from high round‐trip latency (>$$ > $$ 500 ms) and inadequate coverage at high ...

Mechanistic insights into HapC: A key enzyme in prodiginine biosynthesis in Hahella chejuensis

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
HapC catalyzes prodiginine biosynthesis through coordinated movements of its ATP‐binding, substrate‐binding, and catalytic‐swivel domains. The enzyme shows tolerance toward short‐chain MAP analogs, and docking analyses reveal key residues and structural features underlying its substrate flexibility.
