Analysis of Cell Capacity in FDD-LTE Network
2012 8th International Conference on Wireless Communications, Networking and Mobile Computing, 2012With the introduction of technologies such as OFDM, MIMO and higher order modulation,it's more complex in capacity analysis in LTE network. This paper focuses on cell capacity in FDD-LTE network. Firstly, a foundation of the theoretical upper bound on capacity will be established followed by the constraints of overhead channels.

Control Channels Performance Evaluation with the Coexistence of TD-LTE and LTE-FDD
2013 IEEE 78th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Fall), 2013Coexistence research for LTE systems is indispensable to ensure that the time division duplex (TDD) Long Term evolution (LTE) system can coexist with the frequency division duplex (FDD) LTE system operating at the adjacent frequency band within the same geographical area.

IDFT-VFDM for LTE FDD-NR SUL Co-existence
2019 IEEE 30th Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC), 2019In the paper, an inverse discrete Fourier transform-based Vandermonde-subspace frequency division multiplexing (IDFT-VFDM) waveform is proposed for the new radio (NR) supplementary uplink (SUL) to share the same time and frequency resources with the frequency division duplex (FDD) based long-term evolution (LTE) network.

LTE FDD Physical Random Access Channel Dimensioning and Planning
2012 IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Fall), 2012A User Equipment (UE) can only be selected for uplink transmission if it is time-synchronized, so that the Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) becomes a key factor between non-synchronized UEs and the orthogonal LTE uplink access scheme. An appropriate design is essential to provide frequent enough random access opportunities and an accurate UE ...

Receiver desensitization in Envelope Tracking PA based FDD LTE transceivers
2014 IEEE 11th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD14), 2014This paper analyses the issue of receiver desensitization, due to the interaction with the transmitter in Envelope Tracking (ET) based FDD transceivers. The purpose of the study is to assess the possible trade-offs between the several system parameters, the implementation constraints and the system performance.
