Experimental Evaluation of Coefficient of Friction for Fretting Regimes
This study investigates the coefficient of friction (COF) and wear behavior in fretting regimes—stick, stick–slip, and gross sliding—under dry and oil-lubricated conditions.

Study on Lubrication and Friction Performance of Grease Lubricated Sliding Bearings
Abstract In order to study the friction performance of grease lubricated sliding bearings of construction machinery under long-term radial heavy load, a bearing testing machine was developed to measure the changes of friction force, friction coefficient and temperature rise of such bearings.

Optimization of wear behavior of electroless Ni-P-W coating under dry and lubricated conditions using genetic algorithm (GA) [PDF]
The present study aims to investigate the tribological behavior of Ni-P-W coating under dry and lubricated condition. The coating is deposited onto mild steel (AISI 1040) specimens by the electroless method using a sodium hypophosphite based alkaline ...

Influence of Sliding Speed on Boundary Lubrication
The effect of sliding speed on the boundary friction is studied under various conditions by measuring the friction and electrical contact resistance between the sliding metal surfaces. As the result of experiment, it is found that the friction-speed characteristic is affected by oiliness of lubricant.
