The congruence of Wolstenholme and generalized binomial coefficients related to Lucas sequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Using generalized binomial coefficients with respect to fundamental Lucas sequences we establish congruences that generalize the classical congruence of Wolstenholme and other related stronger congruences.Comment: 23 ...

Some properties of the generalized (p,q)- Fibonacci-Like number

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
For the real world problems, we use some knowledge for explain or solving them. For example, some mathematicians study the basic concept of the generalized Fibonacci sequence and Lucas sequence which are the (p,q) – Fibonacci sequence and the (p,q ...

Lucas numbers of the form (2t/k)

open access: yesActa et Commentationes Universitatis Tartuensis de Mathematica, 2019
Let Lm denote the mth Lucas number. We show that the solutions to the diophantine equation (2t/k) = Lm, in non-negative integers t, k ≤ 2t−1, and m, are (t, k, m) = (1, 1, 0), (2, 1, 3), and (a, 0, 1) with non-negative integers a.

Multinomial Catalan Numbers and Lucas Analogues

open access: yes, 2023
We define a new generalization of Catalan numbers to multinomial coefficients. With arithmetic methods, we study their integrality and the integrality of their Lucasnomial generalization. We give a complete characterization of regular Lucas sequences for which they yield integers up to finitely many cases.

Improving the Robustness of Visual Teach‐and‐Repeat Navigation Using Drift Error Correction and Event‐Based Vision for Low‐Light Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Visual teach‐and‐repeat (VTR) navigation allows robots to learn and follow routes without building a full metric map. We show that navigation accuracy for VTR can be improved by integrating a topological map with error‐drift correction based on stereo vision.

Repdigits as Euler functions of Lucas numbers

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2016
We prove some results about the structure of all Lucas numbers whose Euler function is a repdigit in base 10. For example, we show that if Ln is such a Lucas number, then n < 10111 is of the form p or p2, where p3 | 10p-1 -1.

The open-loop solution of the Uzawa-Lucas Model of Endogenous Growth with N agents [PDF]

open access: yes
We solve an N 2 N player general-sum differential game. The optimization problem considered here is based on the Uzawa Lucas model of endogenous growth. Agents have logarithmic preferences and own two capital stocks.
