Bulk or surface grafted silylated Ru(ii) complexes on silica as luminescent nanomaterials [PDF]
A series of Ru(II) complexes with monosilylated-dipyridine ligand have been synthesized and fully characterized and were then covalently attached to silica nanoparticles. Two types of hybrids were obtained depending on the experimental procedure.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Nanostructured luminescently labeled nucleic acids [PDF]
Important and emerging trends at the interface of luminescence, nucleic acids and nanotechnology are: (i) the conventional luminescence labeling of nucleic acid nanostructures (e.g. DNA tetrahedron); (ii) the labeling of bulk nucleic acids (e.g. single‐
