Structure, photoluminescence, Judd–Ofelt analysis, and thermal stability studies of Ho3+/Yb3+ Co-doped YNbO4 green phosphors

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2023
A series of YNbO4:Ho3+/Yb3+ phosphors with varying concentrations of Yb3+ were synthesized using a high-temperature solid-state method. To ascertain the presence, structure, and purity of YNbO4:Ho3+/Yb3+, the crystal structure of the luminescent powder ...

Luminescence measurement of Feldspar

open access: yes, 2022
Abstract In their ideal form, feldspars are wide bandgap (> 5 eV) insulators with a well-defined crystal structure. A natural sample may contain different feldspar phases, disorders, twinning effects, fractures, dislocations, and highly variable impurity contents.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Quantitative determination of luminescent coupling in multijunction solar cells from spectral photovoltage measurements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We present a simple method to quantify the magnitude of luminescent coupling (LC) between stacked subcells in multijunction photovoltaic devices. The effect of luminescence produced at high-band-gap subcells on underlying low-gap units within the same ...

Characterization of luminescent road markings

open access: yes, 2022
International audiencePhotoluminescent paints for road marking application have been evaluated through laboratory measurements and visibility computations. The luminance decay in the dark was measured after constant excitation during at least 6 hours. To

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Probing dark exciton diffusion using photovoltage

open access: yesNature Communications, 2017
Exciton diffusion plays a role in many optoelectronic devices. In some materials, this migration cannot be detected using photoluminescence. Mullenbachet al. use photovoltage measurements to extract the diffusion length in organic photovoltaic cells, and
