Targeting p21‐Positive Senescent Chondrocytes via IL‐6R/JAK2 Inhibition to Alleviate Osteoarthritis

This study uncovers a novel mechanism behind uneven cartilage degeneration in knee osteoarthritis (OA). Elevated IL‐6R expression activates the IL‐6 pathway, leading to SIRT1 degradation, chondrocyte senescence, and reduced SOX9 activity, which impairs cartilage matrix synthesis. Delivery of A Chemically Modified Noncoding RNA Domain Improves Dystrophic Myotube Function

CYTOR is a pro‐myogenic ncRNA in skeletal muscle. Here, chemical probing of CYTOR, coupled with functional cellular assays identifies exon 2 as an independent myogenic RNA domain. Chemical engineering of CYTOR exon 2 RNA improves pharmacologic properties, including RNA stability and cell‐autonomous immunogenicity.
