A new extended (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation with N-solitons, periodic solutions, rogue waves, breathers and lump waves

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2022
In this work, a new extended integrable (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation is proposed and investigated, which models slowly varying perturbation wave in dispersion fluids.

The Energy of Scattering Solitons in the Ward Model

open access: yes, 2004
The energy density of a scattering soliton solution in Ward's integrable chiral model is shown to be instantaneously the same as the energy density of a static multi-lump solution of the $\CP^3$ sigma model.

An exact solution of the metric-affine gauge theory with dilation, shear, and spin charges [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The spacetime of the metric-affine gauge theory of gravity (MAG) encompasses {\it nonmetricity} and {\it torsion} as post-Riemannian structures. The sources of MAG are the conserved currents of energy-momentum and dilation, shear and spin.

Dynamical analysis of lump solution for the (2+1)-dimensional Ito equation

open access: yes, 2017
Exact kinky breather-wave solution, periodic breather-wave solution, and some lump solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional Ito equation are obtained by using an extended homoclinic test technique and Hirota bi-linear method with a perturbation parameter u0 ...

Lump Solutions of 2D Generalized Gardner Equation [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Science and Complexity, 2006
Results of numerical study of lump solutions (2D solitons)of a generalised 2D Gardner equation are presented. To construct such solutions, the Petviashvili is further developed for the evolution equations with the non-power linearity. Solution obtained for different relationships between quadratic and cubic nonlinearity as well as between small-and ...

Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Roxarestat in Regulating Renal Anemia in Patients on Maintenance Hemodialysis

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of roxarestat versus recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) in the management of renal anemia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods This was a prospective, open‐label, randomized controlled trial.

Lump and rogue wave solutions to (1+1)-dimensional evolution equations

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics, 2022
In this paper, we study lump solutions and rogue wave solutions for three (1+1)-dimensional nonlinear dynamic systems. By applying the Hirota direct method, lump and rogue wave solutions are presented with the aid of symbolic computations.

An equitable approach to the payment scheduling problem in project management [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
This study reports on a new approach to the payment scheduling problem. In this approach, the amount and timing of the payments made by the client and received by the contractor are determined so as to achieve an equitable solution.

Lump, lump-periodic, lump-soliton and multi soliton solutions for the potential Kadomtsev-Petviashvili type coupled system with variable coefficients. [PDF]

open access: yesSci Rep
In this article, the potential Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (pKP) type coupled system with variable coefficients is studied, which have many applications in wave phenomena and soliton interactions in a two-dimensional space with time. In this framework, Hirota bilinear form is applied to acquire diverse types of interaction lump solutions from the foresaid ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
