A preliminary analysis of the Mariner 10 color ratio map of Mercury [PDF]
A preliminary geological analysis of the Mariner 10 orange/UV color ratio map of Mercury is given, assuming a basaltic crust. Certain errors in the map are pointed out. The relationship between color and terrain are distinctly non-lunar.

The surface abundance and stratigraphy of lunar rocks from data about their albedo [PDF]
The data pf ground-based studies and surveys of the lunar surface by the Zond and Apollo spacecraft have been used to construct an albedo map covering 80 percent of the lunar sphere.

Varieties of lunar meteorites recovered from Antarctica [PDF]
By the 1988-1989 field season, more than 10 specimens of lunar meteorites have been recovered in Antarctica by the U. S. and Japanese Expeditions. The specimens from the Yamato Mountains, Allan Hills and MacAlpine Hills (Y-791197,Y-82192/193,Y-86032 [1],

Helium mining on the Moon: Site selection and evaluation [PDF]
The feasibility of recovering helium (He) from the Moon as a source of fusion energy on Earth is currently being studied at the University of Wisconsin. Part of this study is selection and evaluation of potential sites for lunar He mining.

Martian Cratering 4: Mariner 9 Initial Analysis of Cratering Chronology [PDF]
Early analyses of cratering and other Martian surface properties that indicated extensive ancient erosion have been strongly supported by Mariner 9 data.

New Explanation for the Near-Side/Far-Side Lunar Maria Disparity
Any attempt to understand the origin of lunar maria must as well account for the dearth of maria on the far-side of the Moon. Various attempts have been made to explain the origin of lunar maria based solely upon obvious lunar processes, namely, volcanism and impact phenomena.

Experimental Impacts into Strength-Layered Targets: Crater Morphology and Morphometry [PDF]
Impact cratering is a fundamental physical process that has dominated the evolution and modification of nearly every planetary surface in the Solar System.

New insight into the composition of the lunar surface from SiO2 map
The distribution of FeO and TiO2 reveals mantle source characteristics and basaltic diversity, whereas SiO2 distribution is closely related to magma evolution and crustal differentiation. However, global studies on SiO2 remain limited.
