Toyota, JAXA partnering on lunar rover project

Toyota Motor Corporation and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) have agreed to accelerate their ongoing joint study of a manned, pressurised lunar rover that employs fuel cell electric vehicle technologies. The partners anticipate that the rover would have a total lunar surface cruising range of more than 10 000 km (6200 miles).
