Scientific design of complex multi‐agent systems: A practice modeling approach

open access: yesAI Magazine, Volume 47, Issue 3, Fall 2026.
Abstract Through advances in computing power, sensor systems, networking, and AI programming, new automated systems are being developed with capabilities for acting in the world that heretofore only people could do—driving automobiles, controlling aircraft systems, delivering packages.

Serum Bone‐, Muscle‐ and Fat‐ Derived Factors Sclerostin, Irisin and Leptin Show Different Correlations With Body Composition and Bone Mineral Density in Chinese Men With Obesity: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesDiabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews, Volume 42, Issue 6, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims This study aimed to explore the interactions among sclerostin, irisin and leptin, as well as their associations with body composition and bone metabolism in Chinese men with obesity. Materials and Methods This study included 26 men with normal weight and 78 men with obesity.

Weight Loss‐Dependent Changes in Body Composition and Bone Health in People With Obesity and Type 1 Diabetes Treated With Liraglutide, Semaglutide, or Tirzepatide

open access: yesDiabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews, Volume 42, Issue 6, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims This study examined changes in body composition and bone mineral density (BMD) over 12 months in people with obesity and type 1 diabetes (T1D) treated with a GLP‐1 receptor agonist alone (GLP‐1RA) or a dual glucose‐dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP/GLP‐1RA).

Assessing Clinical Severity and Prognosis in Adolescents With Anorexia Nervosa and Atypical Anorexia Nervosa Using the Albumin‐Globulin Ratio

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, Volume 34, Issue 5, Page 1193-1208, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective The albumin‐globulin ratio (AGR) is a biochemical marker reflecting nutritional and inflammatory status, with significant prognostic value in chronic conditions. This study examined its association with clinical/biochemical markers in adolescents with anorexia nervosa (AN) and atypical AN (AAN).

Spatial and Temporal Variation in Drivers of Saltmarsh Eco‐Geomorphic Evolution: Field Insights From the St. Lawrence Estuary, Canada

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, Volume 51, Issue 9, September 2026.
Field campaigns establish a novel hydro‐eco‐geomorphic database for St. Lawrence Estuary saltmarshes; foundations to predict ecosystem evolution in an understudied region. Documented spatial and temporal variability in vegetation traits, inundation dynamics and sediment supply warrants further investigation in saltmarsh modelling frameworks.
