According to Fink and St. Mary [2] the proof of (2) given in [1] is incorrect, and therefore the inequality is, as yet, undecided. For n = 2 and P2 0, (2) is known to be correct and also the best possible. This case was first proved by Lyapunov and is generally referred to as Lyapunov's theorem.

We propose new methods for learning control policies and neural network Lyapunov functions for nonlinear control problems, with provable guarantee of stability. The framework consists of a learner that attempts to find the control and Lyapunov functions, and a falsifier that finds counterexamples to quickly guide the learner towards solutions.
