Power Quality‐Oriented Multiloop Design of Floating Wind Turbines Pitch Control
ABSTRACT Floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) face inherent control limitations in above‐rated operating conditions due to right‐half‐plane zeros in the blade‐pitch‐to‐rotor‐speed dynamics, which restrict achievable control bandwidth and may lead to closed‐loop instability.

Examples on Perron effects in autonomous discrete systems
We construct examples proving that there exist C1-dynamical systems in [0,1) having forward orbits instable in the sense of Lyapunov with negative Lyapunov exponent and forward orbits stable in the same sense, but having positive ...

Lyapunov Characteristic Exponents are Nonnegative [PDF]
We prove that, for an arbitrary rational map f f on the Riemann sphere and an arbitrary probability invariant measure on the Julia set, Lyapunov characteristic exponents are nonnegative a.e. In particular log | f ′ | \log |f’|

On the Mean‐Field Limit of Consensus‐Based Methods
ABSTRACT Consensus‐based optimization (CBO) employs a swarm of particles evolving as a system of stochastic differential equations (SDEs). Recently, it has been adapted to yield a derivative free sampling method referred to as consensus‐based sampling (CBS). In this paper, we investigate the “mean‐field limit” of a class of consensus methods, including

Lyapunov Exponents and Sensitive Dependence
Precise relationships between Lyapunov exponents and the instability/stability of orbits of scalar discrete dynamical systems are investigated. It is known that positive Lyapunov exponent does not, in general, imply instability, or, equivalently, sensitive dependence on initial conditions.

Fast and Slow Signal Propagation in Abiotic Polypeptide Assemblies
Proteinoid microspheres formed by thermal polymerization of amino acids exhibit spontaneous electrical potential fluctuations without genetic material, membranes, or ion channels. Multi‐electrode recordings and electron microscopy reveal composition‐dependent voltage oscillations, long‐term drifts, and correlated signals across electrodes.

ABSTRACT This study presents a novel Distributed Robust Adaptive Model Predictive Control (DRAMPC) for tracking in multi‐agent systems. The framework is designed to work with dynamically coupled subsystems and limited communication, which is restricted to local neighborhoods.

Abstract We report the recurrent formation of waters with thermohaline properties similar to Gulf Common Water (GCW) in the western Yucatan Channel, absent upstream in the Caribbean. Mooring observations and a partial submesoscale‐resolving model show that these Yucatan GCW forms locally when the Yucatan Current separates from the slope, intensifying a

Dual Variational Problems and Action Principles for Chen–Lee and Hopf–Langford Systems
ABSTRACT We describe the construction of dual variational principles and action functionals for nonlinear dynamical systems using a methodology based on the dual Lagrange multiplier formalism and a convex optimization approach, to derive families of dual actions that correspond to the given nonlinear ordinary differential system.

New hyperchaotic nonlinear model inclusive complex variables have been introduced in this paper. This model has attributes that differentiate it from several of the models contemplated as of late in literature, for example, (i) this model is a high ...
