An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 40, Issue 5, Page 1029-1041, May 2026.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Experimental validation of the RESPONSE framework against cyberattacks on cyber‐physical process systems

open access: yesAIChE Journal, Volume 72, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract This work experimentally validates the RESPONSE (Resilient Process cONtrol SystEm) framework as a solution for maintaining safe, continuous operation of cyber‐physical process systems under cyberattacks. RESPONSE implements a dual‐loop architecture that runs a networked online controller in parallel with a hard‐isolated offline controller ...

A Cross‐Layer Spatial–Spectral Optimization Framework for Hybrid Routing and Load‐Balanced Channel Allocation in Intelligent Networks

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2026.
Rapid 5G/6G evolution demands cross‐layer resource management to address congestion, latency, and reliability in multi‐hop wireless networks. This paper proposes a TOHRP–LBCA framework using DSA and congestion−/topology−/interference‐aware routing and channel allocation, yielding throughput gains, lower latency, improved packet delivery, and higher ...

The Nonlinear Mechanical Vibration Response Prediction Model Based on Multi‐Domain Feature Fusion and Improved Back Propagation Neural Network

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study utilizes big data and the BP algorithm to predict vibrations in nonlinear systems. These results demonstrate that the improved BP model increases convergence speed by 50%, reduces the mean squared error by 64.04% to 0.0032, and achieves a coefficient of determination of 0.9745.
