Localization of the matrix spectrum and Lyapunov type equations [PDF]
The problems on the location of the matrix spectrum inside or outside domains bounded by ellipses or parabolas are studied. Special Lyapunov-type equations are connected with these problems.

The role of identification in data‐driven policy iteration: A system theoretic study
Abstract The goal of this article is to study fundamental mechanisms behind so‐called indirect and direct data‐driven control for unknown systems. Specifically, we consider policy iteration applied to the linear quadratic regulator problem. Two iterative procedures, where data collected from the system are repeatedly used to compute new estimates of ...

Improved Robust Stability Criteria of Uncertain Neutral Systems with Mixed Delays
The problem of robust stability for a class of neutral control systems with mixed delays is investigated. Based on Lyapunov stable theory, by constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, some new stable criteria are obtained.

State estimation for complex-valued memristive neural networks with time-varying delays
This paper focuses on the state estimation problem for complex-valued memristive neural networks with time-varying delays. By utilizing Lyapunov stability theory and some matrix inequality techniques, based on a novel Lyapunov functional, a sufficient ...

Enhancing generalized spectral clustering with embedding Laplacian graph regularization
Abstract An enhanced generalised spectral clustering framework that addresses the limitations of existing methods by incorporating the Laplacian graph and group effect into a regularisation term is presented. By doing so, the framework significantly enhances discrimination power and proves highly effective in handling noisy data.

ABSTRACT Networked control systems (NCSs) often suffer from performance degradation due to limited communication bandwidth, which can cause data transmission conflicts and packet loss. Existing scheduling strategies may fail to simultaneously meet the real‐time requirements and the importance of multisensor data, and they are particularly vulnerable ...

ABSTRACT This paper proposes a boundary control method for nonlinear distributed parameter systems (DPSs) with limited boundary measurements (BMs), as typically encountered in networked cyber‐physical processes with spatially distributed dynamics such as thermal and biomedical diffusion systems.
