Chemical constituents from Lycopodiella cernua and their anti-inflammatory and cytotoxic activities

open access: yesNatural Product Research, 2021
Phytochemical investigation of the whole plants of Lycopodiella cernua resulted in the isolation and identification of three new compounds (1–3), namely lycocernuaside E (1), lycernuic ketone F (2), and lycernuic B (3) and 12 known ones (4–15). Their chemical structures were established based on 1 D/2D NMR spectroscopic and HR-ESI-MS data analyses ...

Climatically Driven Stability in the Alpine/Moorland Boundary on Three Mountains in Southwest Lutruwita/Tasmania 1986–2020

open access: yesJournal of Vegetation Science, Volume 37, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
This study examined the alpine/moorland ecotone in southwest Lutruwita/Tasmania for impacts of climate change over 34 years. The results showed a stable vegetation boundary. It is likely the observed increase in wind and constant windward sea surface temperature are ameliorating impacts from rising atmospheric temperatures.

Linking topography, soil variability, and early successional vegetation in abandoned gold mines in the tropical rainforest of Colombia's Chocó Biogeographic region

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, Volume 32, Issue 7, September 2024.
Soil fertility heterogeneity is one of the main factors affecting early recovery and plant succession toward a target plant community. This study examined the influence of topography on the diversity and composition of plant communities established in areas degraded by opencast mining in Chocó, Colombia.
