Lycopodium granuloma

Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 1988
The spores of Lycopodium (L) clavatum were used as a component of a dusting powder in many hospitals during the 1920's and 1930's. When L spores enter surgical wounds a lesion clinically resembling tuberculosis or neoplasia may develop months or even years later.

Three newLycopodiumalkaloids fromLycopodium obscurum

Journal of Asian Natural Products Research, 2013
Chemical investigation on the crude alkaloid portion of Lycopodium obscurum led to isolation of three new fawcettimine-type Lycopodium alkaloids, lycobscurines A-C (1-3), together with three known compounds. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods including HR-ESI-MS and NMR techniques.
