On the Diffuse Lyman-alpha Halo Around Lyman-alpha Emitting Galaxies
11 pages, 8 figures, accepted for publication in ApJ. Our conclusion is slightly updated as a result of an improved evaluation of the sky-subtraction systematics in the observed UV profile.

Lyman-alpha emission in star-forming galaxies
IUE observations of five blue, low-metallicity, star-forming galaxies sufficiently redshifted to permit detection of Lyman-alpha are reported. The galaxies with metallicities 0.1 time solar or more have weak or absent Lyman-alpha emission. There is evidence for increasing Lyman-alpha emission with decreasing metallicity.

The HETDEX Survey Emission-line Exploration and Source Classification
The Hobby–Eberly Telescope Dark Energy Experiment (HETDEX) is an untargeted spectroscopic survey that aims to measure the expansion rate of the universe at z ∼ 2.4 to 1% precision for both H ( z ) and D _A ( z ).

LCEz4-M1: A Lyman Continuum Emitter Candidate at z = 4.444 in the MUSE Hubble Ultra Deep Field
High-redshift Lyman continuum emitters (LCEs) are crucial for understanding how galaxies ionize the neutral hydrogen in the epoch of reionization. However, detected LCEs at z > 4 are quite rare.

Assessing the contribution of ionizing sources to cosmic reionization is a central goal of extragalactic astrophysics. Understanding and quantifying ionizing escape remains challenging near the Epoch of Reionization. We present the highest-redshift Lyman

We present Ly α imaging of 45 low-redshift star-forming galaxies observed with the Hubble Space Telescope. The galaxies have been selected to have moderate to high star formation rates (SFRs) using far-ultraviolet (FUV) luminosity and H α equivalent ...

Context. JWST provides a unique dataset for studying the earliest stages of reionisation at z > 9, promising insights into the first galaxies. Many JWST/NIRSpec prism spectra of z > 5 galaxies have revealed smooth Lyman-alpha breaks, implying damping ...
