Possible role for cell-surface carbohydrate-binding molecules in lymphocyte recirculation. [PDF]
We are investigating the hypothesis that carbohydrate-binding molecules on the cell surface are involved in the recirculation of lymphocytes from the bloodstream into lymphoid organs.

LAYN Is a Prognostic Biomarker and Correlated With Immune Infiltrates in Gastric and Colon Cancers
Background: Layilin (LAYN) is a critical gene that regulates T cell function. However, the correlations of LAYN to prognosis and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in different cancers remain unclear. Methods: LAYN expression was analyzed via the Oncomine ...

Analysis of treatment‐naïve high‐grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC) and control tissues for ERVs, LINE‐1 (L1), inflammation, and immune checkpoints identified five clusters with diverse patient recurrence‐free survivals. An inflammation score was calculated and correlated with retroelement expression, where one novel cluster (Triple‐I) with high ...

Comparative study of the amount of DNA single-strand breaks and alkali-labile sites in human peripheral blood lymphocytes exposed to 365 nm UV versus X-ray radiation [PDF]
Aim: to compare the amount of DNA single-strand breaks (SSB) and alkali-labile sites (ALS) induced by DNA 365 nm ultraviolet (UV) versus X-rays radiation in human peripheral blood lymphocytes at in vitro conditions. Material and methods.

A DIA‐MS‐based proteomics analysis of serum samples from GB patients and healthy controls showed that high levels of IL1R2 and low levels of CRTAC1 and HRG in serum are associated with poor survival outcomes for GB patients. These circulating proteins could serve as biomarkers for the prediction of outcome in patients with GB.

Highly Efficient Gene Expression in B Lymphocytes Mediating by Lentivirus Vector [PDF]
Gene transduction and expression efficiencies among several type cell lines were compared by using vesicular stomatitis virus-glycoprotein (VSV-G) pseudotyped human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1) based lentivirus vector. Large discrepancies of the
