The aggressive B-cell lymphomas are surprisingly heterogeneous in morphologic and architectural features, despite their common cell lineage. There are, in addition, a variety of differences among these entities that have no morphologic correlates. These disorders were spotlighted in the XI Workshop of the European Association of Hematopathology in May ...

Dermatologic Clinics, 1985
The various morphologic and functional subtypes of nodal B-cell lymphomas can also be found in the skin. These reflect the various steps of lymphocyte differentiation including maturation from the pre-B lymphocyte to the well-differentiated B2 lymphocyte or plasma cell in the peripheral blood.

Isolated B‐Cell Lymphoma of the Skin

Large B‐cell lymphoma of the leg
International Journal of Dermatology, 2001A 74‐year‐old Mexican man presented with an 18‐month history of multiple, violaceous, coalescing, firm, tender nodules with an ulcer in the anterior aspect of the right leg (Fig. 1) and slightly infiltrated, ill‐defined erythematous plaques affecting the left leg and both forearms. Epidemiology of B-Cell Lymphomas
1999The B-lineage lymphomas are a diverse set of neoplasms that vary in their clinical and histologic appearance. Epidemiologic data on the non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas generally obscure distinctions among these tumors, presenting an additional challenge to interpretation. Nevertheless, observations about their similarities and differences may provide important

Origin and Pathogenesis of B Cell Lymphomas
2012Immunoglobulin (IG) gene remodeling by V(D)J recombination plays a central role in the generation of normal B cells, and somatic hypermutation and class switching of IG genes are key processes during antigen-driven B cell differentiation. However, errors of these processes are involved in the development of B cell lymphomas.

The indolent B-cell lymphomas account for about one third of all lymphomas in the Western world. The follicular lymphomas are the largest and most easily recognized category of indolent lymphoma, representing about one quarter of lymphomas in the Western world.1, 2, 3 The incidence of follicular lymphoma is markedly lower in Asia than in the West, for ...
