Human Disturbance but Not Predation Risk Is Associated With Increased Vigilance in Roe Deer
Ethology, EarlyView.Roe deer vigilance is lower in natural than in modified habitats, decreases with group size, but is not significantly influenced by stable wolf presence, suggesting habitat‐driven risk perception and reliance on spatial avoidance over increased alertness.

Speed Bump and Stock Market Quality: Evidence From NYSE American
Financial Management, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Should trading speed of high‐frequency traders be regulated? Using the data from the New York Stock Exchange American, this paper examines the impact of a speed bump on market liquidity and price discovery. Our results indicate that the use of a speed bump can lower the costs of adverse selection through reducing informed trading.

Free rein: Are feral horses competing with native ungulates in British Columbia?
The Journal of Wildlife Management, Volume 90, Issue 3, April 2026.We investigated little‐studied feral horses in west‐central British Columbia, Canada, as a potential competitor for native moose and mule deer. We did not find strong evidence that feral horses exclude moose or deer from habitat or resources at a large landscape scale or smaller spatiotemporal patch scale.
