Hyperandrogenemia Induces Trophoblast Ferroptosis and Early Pregnancy Loss in Patients With PCOS via CMA‐Dependent FTH1 Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In PCOS patients with hyperandrogenemia, decreased ferritin heavy chain 1 (FTH1) causes Fe2⁺ overload and ferroptosis in trophoblasts. Androgens induce FTH1 protein degradation via AR‐LAMP2A‐mediated chaperone‐mediated autophagy pathway, leading to placental development disruption and early pregnancy loss. Metformin mitigates androgen‐induced placental

Interactions of Antibody Drug Conjugate Anti‐Tubulin and Topoisomerase I Inhibitor Payloads with Radiotherapy to Potentiate Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody drug conjugates deliver their cytotoxic anti‐tubulin or topoisomerase I inhibitor payloads to tumors through cancer cell receptor targeting. The released drug payloads induce cellular changes that interact with radiotherapy resulting in radiosensitization that improves cancer cell kill and stimulates anti‐tumor immune responses.

TBC1D15-regulated mitochondria–lysosome membrane contact exerts neuroprotective effects by alleviating mitochondrial calcium overload in seizure

open access: yesScientific Reports
Mitochondrial calcium overload plays an important role in the neurological insults in seizure. The Rab7 GTPase-activating protein, Tre-2/Bub2/Cdc16 domain family member 15 (TBC1D15), is involved in the regulation of mitochondrial calcium dynamics by ...

Nanoscale Mapping of the Subcellular Glycosylation Landscape

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using multiplexed super‐resolution imaging with fluorophore‐labeled lectins, this study reports intracellular glycosylation at the nanoscale across organelles and synaptic specializations. Extending glycan analysis beyond the cell surface, Glyco‐STORM reveals distinct glycosylation nanodomains in the ER, Golgi, lysosomes, and synaptic sites.
