Influence of Asymmetry on the Molecular and Electronic Structures of μ‐Oxo Diferric Complexes
The 6‐methyl substituents at the pyridines (shown in red) enforce longer MNpy bonds than without them (shown in green).The asymmetric dinucleating susanH2Me2 is used for the synthesis of a μ‐oxo diferric complex. Comparison to the two symmetric complexes of susan and susan6−Me shows a strong effect on the redox potentials.

The study of crystal and magnetic properties of MnNi0.85Fe0.15Ge
Magnetic and Mössbauer measurements were performed for MnNi0.85Fe0.15Ge. The Mössbauer data indicate that Fe atoms in MnNi0.85Fe0.15Ge are randomly distributed over two types of metal sites in hexagonal structure.

Strong Proton‐Phonon Coupling Drives Fast Ion Transport in Perovskites
Experimental and computational phonon analysis of ABO3‐type proton conductor BaSnO3 shows that substitution on the B‐site with yttrium forms an imaginary phonon mode which is instrumental for the function as proton conductor. This overcompensates the adverse proton trapping effect of the yttrium.
