Multimodal Multiorgan‐on‐a‐Chip Platform for Probing Liver‐Tumor Interactions and Advancing Prodrug Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a multimodal multi‐OoC platform that overcomes current limitations in liver‐tumor interaction studies and prodrug screening. By integrating dynamic microfluidic circuits, electrochemical sensing, and mass analysis, this platform enables non‐invasive, longitudinal monitoring of drug metabolism and hepatotoxicity, offering a ...

Magnetic Hexadecapole γ Transitions and Neutrino-Nuclear Responses in Medium-Heavy Nuclei

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2016
Neutrino-nuclear responses in the form of squares of nuclear matrix elements, NMEs, are crucial for studies of neutrino-induced processes in nuclei. In this work we investigate magnetic hexadecapole (M4) NMEs in medium-heavy nuclei.

Localization of m4 muscarinic acetylcholine receptors on striatal projection neurons using biotinylated m4-toxin

open access: yes, 1999
The predominant muscarinic receptor expressed in the striatum is the m4 subtype. Its concentration in the striatum is higher than in any other tissue. Studies to elucidate the role played by m4 receptors in striatal functions have been hampered by a lack

Noninvasive Focal Gene Delivery into the Cerebellum of Non‐Human Primates using Focused Ultrasound

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Focal and non‐invasive viral vector delivery in non‐human primates remains a major challenge in translational neuroscience. Low‐intensity focused ultrasound was used to transiently open the blood–brain barrier and enable targeted gene delivery to the cerebellum.

Rejuvenated Amorphous Alloys: Processing Methods, Microstructures and Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Three rejuvenation methods – mechanical and thermal rejuvenation, and other rejuvenation routes such as ultrasonic processing – can be used to modify structures of glassy alloys, especially atomic clusters, and therefore enhances plasticity and activates work‐hardening behaviors.
