Angular control of anisotropy-induced bound states in the continuum [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Radiation of leaky modes existing in anisotropic waveguides can be cancelled by destructive interference at special propagation directions relative to the optical axis orientation, resulting in fully bound states surrounded by radiative modes.

Linguistic Ways of Representing Author’s Modality in M. A. Bulgakov’s Novel “The Master and Margarita”

open access: yesPhilology. Theory & Practice, 2022
The aim of the research is to interpret the conceptual (content-related) features of the field category of author’s modality in M. A. Bulgakov’s novel “The Master and Margarita” by analysing the lexico-grammatical and contextual linguistic means of its representation. Scientific originality lies in developing mechanisms for systematisation of different-

High‐Performance Phthalonitrile Resins Partially Derived from a Furan Bio‐Based Chemical Platform

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 24, December 13, 2025.
Low‐melting Schiff‐base phthalonitrile resins are synthesized from a furan‐based chemical platform, providing improved processability and sustainability. Upon curing, the resins yield high‐performance thermosets with exceptional thermal stability, high char yield, and glass transition temperatures above 400 °C.

Bound states in the continuum: localization of Dirac-like fermions

open access: yes, 2014
We report the formation of bound states in the continuum for Dirac-like fermions in structures composed by a trilayer graphene flake connected to nanoribbon leads. The existence of this kind of localized states can be proved by combining local density of

Reading the Creed in the Light of Pentecost: An Eastern European Pneumatic Reflection

open access: yesInternational Journal of Systematic Theology, Volume 27, Issue 4, Page 507-524, October 2025.
Abstract Reading the Creed through pneumatic lenses is essential for understanding both humanity's eschatological destiny in the likeness of the Trinity and the consistently triune economy of salvation. In light of this assertion, the essay highlights aspects of the Creed's explicit and implicit pneumatology, offering a reflection from an Eastern ...

Selective Transport and Mobility Edges in Quasi-1D Systems with a Stratified Correlated Disorder

open access: yes, 2003
We present analytical results on transport properties of many-mode waveguides with randomly stratified disorder having long-range correlations. To describe such systems, the theory of 1D transport recently developed for a correlated disorder is ...
