Equivalence of constacyclic codes over finite non-chain ring and quantum codes
Let $ \mathfrak {R}_{l} = {\mathbb F}_{q}[u]/ \langle u^{l}-u \rangle $, where $ q = p^m $, $ p $ is a prime, and $ m \in \mathbf{N^+} $, $ (l-1)\mid(p-1) $.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Dimensions of nonbinary antiprimitive BCH codes and some conjectures
Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) codes have been intensively investigated. Even so, there is only a little known about primitive BCH codes, let alone non-primitive ones.

core
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Generating m-Ary Gray Codes and Related Algorithms
In this work, we systematize several implementations of the Gray code over an alphabet with m≥2 elements, which we present in C code so that they can be used directly after copying from the text. We consider two variants—reflected and modular (or shifted)

On the Stopping Distance of SA-LDPC Codes by Transversal Designs
In this paper, we analyze the size of the smallest stopping set (called the stopping distance) for the parity-check matrix of a superposed array low-density parity-check (SA-LDPC) code for column weights 3 and 4 by using the transversal design (TD ...
