Polar Codes and a M-ary Modulation-Based OFDM-PLC System
Power Line Communication (PLC) serves as a medium for communication over power lines, utilizing the existing power grid for information transmission. It offers a low-cost, highly scalable signal transmission method and has the potential to become the ...

Hamming and simplex codes for the sum-rank metric [PDF]
Sum-rank Hamming codes are introduced in this work. They are essentially defined as the longest codes (thus of highest information rate) with minimum sum-rank distance at least 3 (thus one-error-correcting) for a fixed redundancy r, base-field size q and

On the Hamming Distance of Repeated-Root Cyclic Codes of Length 6
Let $p$ be an odd prime, $s$ , $m$ be positive integers such that $p^{m}\equiv 2 \pmod 3$ . In this paper, using the relationship about Hamming distances between simple-root cyclic codes and repeated-root cyclic codes, the Hamming distance of all ...

ABSTRACT Background Combined oral contraceptive (COC) use in obese adult women dramatically increases the relative risk of developing a pulmonary embolism (PE). The risk of a PE in obese adolescent females taking contraceptives is currently unknown. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the effect of body mass index (BMI) and contraceptive

Optimal quinary cyclic codes with minimum distance four
Cyclic codes are an extremely important subclass of linear codes. They are widely used in the communication systems and data storage systems because they have efficient encoding and decoding algorithm.Until now,how to construct the optimal ternary cyclic ...

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

On TSC checkers for m-out-of-n codes
Summary: Paschalis et al. have given a structured method to design TSC \(m\)-out-of-\(2m\) code checkers suitable for VLSI implementation. In this correspondence we give sufficient conditions so that the method given by Paschalis et al. can be used to design checkers for classes of \(m\)-out-of-\(n\) codes with \(n\neq 2m\).
