Maastrichtian Charophyte Gyrogonites from Jamaica
Micropaleontology, 1984A well-preserved charophyte gyrogonite assemblage consisting of Platychara grambastii, Porochara cf. anluensis, and Porochara oblonga is herein reported from the upper part of the Slippery Rock Formation from the Central Inlier in Jamaica. The assemblage indicates a Maastrichtian age for the upper part of the Slippery Rock Formation.
