Inhibitors of insulin‐degrading enzyme boost PI cytotoxicity through an increased sensitivity of proteasome to PI inhibitors, induction of ISR, DNA damage and Myc down‐regulation. They overcome PI resistance in vitro and induce tumour regression in vivo.

Complementary square wave voltammetry (SWV) and liquid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐MS/MS DNA) are used to analyze DNA extracted from selected muscle tissues from either mdx or col5a1(+/‐) mouse models. SWV oxidative currents change with treatment and allow for a rapid genetic analysis.

Adhesion‐Related Macrophages Regulate Metabolic Homeostasis Through CAV‐1 Dependency

Adipose tissue harbors a distinct macrophage subpopulation, termed adhesion‐related macrophages (ARMs), which stably adhere to adipocytes. In obesity, ARMs represent the major expanding macrophage subset. They acquire material from adipocytes and rely on Caveolin‐1 for sustained lipid handling.
