Bioactive food components and their inhibitory actions in multiple platelet pathways
A comprehensive overview of platelet multifunctional roles in CVD and other diseases and the effects of food components' modulatory effects are described. Abstract In addition to hemostasis and thrombosis, blood platelets are involved in various processes such as inflammation, infection, immunobiology, cancer metastasis, wound repair and angiogenesis ...

Resource redeployment as an entry advantage in resource‐poor settings
Abstract Research Summary Scarcity of productive factors poses a challenge for firms entering underdeveloped regions. We theorize that incumbent firms can overcome scarcity of skilled human capital in local labor markets by redeploying workers from existing units.

Recyclable Printed Liquid Metal Composite for Underwater Stretchable Electronics
This work presents a multifunctional liquid metal (LM) microdroplet‐based composite with a custom‐designed block copolymer as the matrix, optimized for printing. The composite exhibits high conductivity, stretchability, durability in dry and aqueous environments, and recyclability of LM using green solvents. These properties highlight its potential for

Parallel flows as a key component to interpret Super-X divertor experiments
The Super-X Divertor (SXD) is an alternative divertor configuration leveraging total flux expansion at the Outer Strike Point (OSP). While the extended 2-Point Model (2PM) predicts facilitated detachment access and control in the SXD configuration, these

Enhanced Diffuse Interface Method for Multiphase Flow Simulations Across All Mach Numbers [PDF]
This paper enhances the Diffuse Interface Method (DIM) for simulating compressible multiphase flows across all Mach numbers by addressing the accuracy challenges posed at low Mach regimes. A correction to the Riemann solver is introduced, designed to mitigate excessive numerical diffusion while maintaining simplicity and efficiency.

The efficiency of liquid steel atomization with close‐coupled nozzles depends on the interplay of momentum flux ratio, gas–liquid ratio, aspiration pressure, and inert gas pressure. This study explores these interactions, focusing on flow conditions and recirculation phenomena.
