Substituent‐Based Modulation of Self‐Assembly and Immunogenicity of Amphipathic Peptides
This study systematically investigates how positional and subtle changes, such as substituents on the phenyl ring attached to short amphipathic peptides, influence their self‐assembly, fibril morphology, and immunogenic responses. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled peptide‐based biomaterials provide versatile platforms for biomedical uses, featuring customizable ...

Coacervate‐Mediated Lysosome‐Targeting Antibody Delivery for Protein Degradation
Targeting coacervates to the lysosome in the cytoplasm is a challenge. Here, we convert a tetrapeptide into lysosome‐targeting, membrane‐translocating coacervates. The lysosome‐sorting peptide coacervates facilitate coacervate‐mediated delivery of antibody antigen complexes and a PROTAC compound to the lysosome for the targeted degradation of cancer ...

Glutamine deprivation triggers transient DNA damage yet activates adaptive repair in hepatocellular carcinoma cells. We identify TRIB3 as a stress‐induced nuclear scaffold that associates with DDX5 and G‐quadruplex DNA atBRCA1 andRAD51AP1 promoters. TRIB3 loss increases G4 accumulation, suppresses HR gene transcription, elevates γ‐H2A.X, and sensitizes

Hypoxia-induced macropinocytosis represents a metabolic route for liver cancer
Cancer cells rely on macropinocytosis to scavenge extracellular proteins for growth. Here the authors show that macropinocytosis supports the survival of hypoxic hepatocellular carcinoma cells and this is dependent on HIF-1, which in turns activates the ...

The breadth of macropinocytosis research [PDF]
Macropinocytosis is a form of endocytosis in which cells ingest extracellular fluid and solutes into relatively large endocytic vesicles called macropinosomes. The membrane of macropinosomes derives from plasma membrane following protrusive movements of actin-rich membrane folds called ruffles, which close at their distal margins to enclose ...

Cationic mRNA Lipid Nanoparticles for Ex Vivo NanoCAR‐T Cell Engineering
This study compares charge‑neutral and cationic lipidnanoparticles (LNPs) for ex vivo mRNA delivery to T cells, revealing distinctdependencies on medium composition and T cell activation. Where conventional LNPs benefit from ApoE‐dependent T cell targeting, cationic DOTAP‑modified LNPs mediate unspecific charge‑dependent transfection.

Macropinocytosis Regulates Metabolic Reprogramming To Potentiate Osteoclast Differentiation
Aim or purpose: Osteoclast differentiation and bone resorption are processes with high energy demands, and macropinocytosis serves as an efficient mechanism to mitigate nutrient shortages in cells with high metabolic demands by scavenging nutrients ...

This study presents a DNA hydrogel‐mediated delivery system, in which ginsenoside (GS) molecules are incorporated into small extracellular vesicles (sEV) secreted by mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and the formed complexes are then anchored in DNA hydrogels via aptamer‐CD63 affinity as “GS/sEV@DNAgels”, to improve diabetic wound repair.
