Morphological and trophic coupling distinguishes coral clades along a light gradient
Abstract Light availability is critical to the growth and survival of most scleractinian corals due to their endosymbiotic relationship with photosynthetic dinoflagellates. Natural light gradients are expected to be associated with shifts in coral physiology, morphology, and trophic strategy.

Physical activity is related to more aligned white matter fibers and microstructural reorganization of the brain. Body weight, cardiometabolic, and inflammatory factors could partly mediate the effects of physical activity on brain white matter microstructure. The effects of physical activity on the brain are age‐ and region‐specific.

ABSTRACT Machine‐learning‐based sleep staging models have achieved expert‐level performance on standard polysomnographic (PSG) data. However, their application to EEG recorded by wearable devices remains limited by non‐conventional referencing montage and the lack of benchmarking against PSG.

ABSTRACT Disordered sleep is a common reason individuals report using cannabis, yet the physiological effects of Δ9‐tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9‐THC) on sleep and autonomic regulation remain incompletely understood. Early studies reported acute sleep‐promoting effects of Δ9‐THC, but chronic use has been associated with disrupted sleep and possible ...

ABSTRACT We investigated whether sleep microstructures show spatial differences in young children with autism compared with typically developing peers. 32‐channel electroencephalography (EEG) during natural sleep after 5–6 h of partial sleep deprivation was recorded from 53 children (26 with autism, 27 typically developing; 1.1–5.1 years).

The macrostructure of the Roman pridiana
This paper examines the data structure of surviving Roman pridianum-type documents. These reports record the current status of a cohort and the changes since the previous report. Two pridiana and an interim report survive in a condition suitable for detailed analysis, and a further document, although fragmentary, also merits examination.
