Preparation and Mapping of Alginate Morphologies Using Inverted Nozzle Pressurised Gyration

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This work facilitates the fabrication of alginate products from a natural Laminaria source using the newest pressure spinning method, inverted nozzle pressurized gyration (INPG). A coagulation bath with calcium chloride was used as the crosslinker to achieve the ion exchange for the formation of the “egg‐box” structure.

Sensory Assessment of Pressure‐Cooked and Pureed Faba Bean Cultivars: The Contribution of Cotyledon and Seed Coat Constituents Toward the Perception of Sensory Attributes

open access: yesSustainable Food Proteins, Volume 4, Issue 2, June 2026.
Whole beans and cotyledons from three faba bean cultivars, Malik, Fabelle, and Snowbird, were processed into purees through a sequence of soaking, blanching, hot filling, pressure cooking, and blending. Purees prepared from whole beans were centrifuged, and the supernatants were collected. A trained sensory panel evaluated the aroma, flavor, taste, and

Interfacial Nano‐Pitting and In Situ Sulfate‐Directed Growth of Na2.85V2(PO4)2.85(SO4)0.15 Nanodots on MWCNT for Ultrafast Sodium‐Ion Storage

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 31, 2 June 2026.
Ultracentrifugation‐assisted phosphate–sulfate treatment induces self‐limiting nano‐pitting on carbon nanotube surfaces, creating confined sites for in situ growth of Na2.85V2(PO4)2.85(SO4)0.15 nanodots. This embedded nanodot–carbon interface ensures strong electronic coupling and short ion pathways, enabling capacitor‐like sodium storage with ...
