A transfer‐free fabrication method enables multilayer graphene microelectrodes as small as 10 µm, eliminating reliability issues of manual graphene transfer. These electrodes record neural activity in brain slices with exceptional signal‐to‐noise ratios (up to 25–40 dB) while maintaining optical transparency for multimodal applications.

On two problems of Erdos and Hechler: New methods in singular Madness
For an infinite cardinal mu, MAD(mu) denotes the set of all cardinalities of nontrivial maximal almost disjoint families over mu. Erdos and Hechler proved the consistency of [mu in MAD(mu)] for a singular cardinal mu and asked if it was ever possible for

Doehl et al. discovered an adaptive neuroimmune mechanism that induces itch in tick‐exposed guinea pigs, enabling rapid tick removal. This itch‐induced tick removal (IITR) is mediated by an adaptive cellular immune response and is independent of IgG, IgE, or TRPV1.

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

Letter written by Patricia O\u27Brien Aiken to Lieutenant Albert Shelton Aiken dated August 18, 1942 [PDF]
High Sugar— I guess whomever you borrowed the paper from used to write his girl long letters. One of the gals at home writes me that the boy she’s gonna marry writes her four or five letters a day.—I felt very neglected to say the least!

On a q-analog of a Sahi result
We obtain a $q$-analog of a well known Sahi result on the joint spectrum of $S(GL_n \times GL_n)$-invariant differential operators with polynomial coefficients on the vector space of complex $n \times n$-matrices.Comment: 9 pages, some improvements in ...

Microglial GPR35 Ameliorates Epileptogenesis and Neuroinflammation via PDGFA Domain 2 Signaling
Activation of microglial G protein–coupled receptor 35 (GPR35) by L‐kynurenic acid (L‐Kyna) initiates a platelet‐derived growth factor A (PDGFA)–dependent phosphoinositide 3‐kinase–protein kinase B (PI3K–AKT) signaling cascade that dampens hippocampal neuroinflammation, thereby restraining epileptogenesis, lowering seizure susceptibility, and ...

A Hard Pill to Swallow: Pharmacy Chain Dominance and the Commodification of Mental Health in Peru [PDF]
Peru’s mental health system remains marked by chronic underinvestment, fragmentation, and weak regulation, leaving many without adequate access to care. In this context, private pharmacy chains have become central actors in the provision of mental health
