Genome-wide analysis of the MADS-box gene family in Brassica rapa (Chinese cabbage)
Molecular Genetics and Genomics, 2014The MADS-box gene family is an ancient and well-studied transcription factor family that functions in almost every developmental process in plants. There are a number of reports about the MADS-box family in different plant species, but systematic analysis of the MADS-box transcription factor family in Brassica rapa (Chinese cabbage) is still lacking ...

Genome‐wide analysis of MADS‐box family genes during flower development in lettuce
Plant, Cell & Environment, 2019AbstractLettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is an important leafy vegetable consumed worldwide. Heat‐induced bolting and flowering greatly limit lettuce production during the summer. Additionally, MADS‐box transcription factors are important for various aspects of plant development and architecture (e.g., flowering and floral patterning).

IN SILICO ANALYSIS OF THE LETTUCE (Lactuca sativa L.) MADS-BOX GENE FAMILY
2020High temperatures can negatively affect lettuce production by promoting early bolting, which leads to increased levels of latex accumulation in the leaves, causing them to become bitter. The lack of adaptation of this culture to such conditions made it an object of study for plant breeding programs, resulting in well succeeded studies.
