Dose-Dependent Absorption Profile of Different Magnesium Compounds
Biological Trace Element Research, 2019Magnesium, one of the basic elements for the human body, is necessary for many physiological functions. Magnesium deficiency is widely observed as a result of the reduced nutrient content of foods, over-cooking, diseases, drugs, alcohol, and caffeine consumption. Taking a dietary supplement is necessary magnesium deficiency.

Stable Magnesium(I) Compounds with Mg-Mg Bonds
Science, 2007The chemistry of the group 2 metals (beryllium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, and barium) is dominated by the +2 oxidation state. Here, we report the reductions of two magnesium(II) iodide complexes with potassium metal in toluene, leading to thermally stable magnesium(I) compounds, (L)MgMg(L) (where L is [(Ar)NC(NPr i

The reaction of hydrogen with magnesium alloys and magnesium intermetallic compounds
Journal of the Less Common Metals, 1980The hydrogenation characteristics of various dilute magnesium alloys and magnesium intermetallic compounds were studied. The rate of the reaction between hydrogen and activated magnesium containing small amounts of group IIIa metal additives (aluminium, gallium, indium) was investigated and was compared with the rate for pure (unalloyed) magnesium ...

Journal of Polymer Science Part A: General Papers, 1963
AbstractMagnesium compounds, especially Grignard reagents were studied as catalysts in the polymerization of vinyl ethers. The Grignard reagent and diethyl magnesium possessed no activity for polymerization of vinyl ether. However, if the Grignard reagent is combined with some sort of third substances, it shows good activity.

Magnesium Silicate Filler in Rubber Tread Compounds
Rubber Chemistry and Technology, 1987Abstract The natural magnesium silicate, sepiolite (trade name Pansil), can partially substitute (up to 30%) for carbon black without important losses in physical properties and occasionally can improve them. In the NR-based compounds, as the substitution takes place, vulcanization times and Mooney viscosities decrease.
