The reaction of hydrogen with magnesium alloys and magnesium intermetallic compounds
Journal of the Less Common Metals, 1980The hydrogenation characteristics of various dilute magnesium alloys and magnesium intermetallic compounds were studied. The rate of the reaction between hydrogen and activated magnesium containing small amounts of group IIIa metal additives (aluminium, gallium, indium) was investigated and was compared with the rate for pure (unalloyed) magnesium ...

Physical properties of magnesium nitridophosphate (Mg2PN3) compound
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2018In this work, we investigated structural, electronic and optical properties of orthorhombic Mg2PN3 compound. The calculations were performed with full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave (FP-LAPW) method based on Density Functional Theory by using Wien2k packet.

Reactions of aziridinones with magnesium compounds
Journal of the Chemical Society D: Chemical Communications, 1971The reaction of 1,3-bis-(1-adamantyl)aziridin-2-one with magnesium chloride, bromide, or iodide affords the corresponding α-halogeno-amide by cleavage of the alkyl–nitrogen bond, whereas reaction of the same aziridinone with magnesium methoxide yields an α-aminoester by cleavage of the acyl-nitrogen bond.

The Analysis of Magnesium Compound Desulfurizer and Compound Desulfurizer in PANGANG
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012This paper firstly analyzed the desulfurization mechanism of magnesium compound desulfurizer and compound desulfurizer. It is thought that the compound desulfurizer which contains a certain amount of magnesium is better used than the one does not contain.

Theophylline Magnesium Salicylate, a New Xanthine Compound
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1981Interaction of 1 mole of magnesium salicylate and 2 moles of theophylline in water precipitated a crystalline compound, identified as theophylline magnesium salicylate pentahydrate from analytical and supportive physicochemical data. Similarly, barium salicylate and theophylline produced theophylline barium salicylate.

Alkenyl Magnesium Compounds: Generation and Synthetic Application
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2018AbstractAlkenyl magnesium compounds have received much attention in synthetic organic chemistry because of their high reactivity. This review summarizes three types of alkenyl magnesium compounds which contain at least one [Mg−C=C] fragment, for example, (1) alkenyl Grignard reagents prepared by halogen–magnesium exchange reaction; (2) alkenyl ...

Journal of Polymer Science Part A: General Papers, 1963
AbstractMagnesium compounds, especially Grignard reagents were studied as catalysts in the polymerization of vinyl ethers. The Grignard reagent and diethyl magnesium possessed no activity for polymerization of vinyl ether. However, if the Grignard reagent is combined with some sort of third substances, it shows good activity.

Formability of Hybrid Aluminum-Magnesium Compounds
Key Engineering Materials, 2013In the SFB 692 HALS (High-strength aluminum based lightweight materials for safety components), subproject B-3, the production of an aluminum magnesium compound by a hydrostatic co-extrusion process was investigated. The quality of these semi-finished products, especially the stability and robustness of the interface between the aluminum (AlMgSi1 ...

The inactivation of pepsin by compounds of Aluminum and Magnesium
American Journal of Digestive Diseases, 1941Aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate and aluminum chloride inactivate pepsin even at a pH as low as 1.0 to 2.0. This is due in part to the inhibition of peptic digestion by aluminum ions. Magnesium trisilicate does not inactivate pepsin at such pH levels.

Bis(trimethylsilyl)magnesium—The First Organosilyl‐magnesium Compound Isolated
Angewandte Chemie International Edition in English, 1977Transfer of silyl groups in the presence of magnesium has been postulated to involve organosilymagnesium compounds as intermediates. The first representative of this class (1), has now been isolated. equation image
