Soil-plant relationships of magnesium in selected Taranaki yellow-brown loams : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Agricultural Science in Soil Science at Massey University [PDF]

open access: yes, 1976
Best copy available. The exchangeable Mg contents of soils in the Inglewood - New Plymouth area of Taranaki are primarily determined by Mg contents of parent materials.

Investigating the cell of origin and novel molecular targets in Merkel cell carcinoma: a historic misnomer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

ESTIMASI KANDUNGAN UNSUR HARA KALIUM DAN MAGNESIUM PADA TANAMAN NANAS (Ananas comosus (L) Merr.) Menggunakan Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) DI PT. GREAT GIANT PINEAPPLE

open access: yesJTSL (Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan), 2018
Central Lampung is one of the areas that produce a lot of pineapple. Pineapple plants require potassium and magnesium nutrients to produce optimal fruit.

Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.

Some factors affecting magnesium uptake by citrus leaves : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Horticultural Science at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
Pineapple sweet orange seedlings and rooted leaf bud cuttings of Meyer lemons were used to investigate the effects of some of the factors affecting magnesium uptake by leaves.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Metabolomics Reveals Distinct Carbon and Nitrogen Metabolic Responses to Magnesium Deficiency in Leaves and Roots of Soybean [Glycine max (Linn.) Merr.]

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2017
Magnesium (Mg) deficiency, a widespread yet overlooked problem in agriculture, has been reported to retard plant growth and development, through affecting key metabolic pathways.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.
