Review on manufacturability and strengthening mechanisms of particulate reinforced Mg composites
The further development of lightweight and energy-saving engineering materials is a great challenge for scientists in the 21st century. Magnesium and its composites, as the metal materials with the lowest density among metal structural materials, have ...

Nondestructive testing method of SiCp particle dispersion in SiCp/AZ91D magnesium matrix composites
SiCp/AZ91D magnesium matrix composites are widely used in the aerospace field, but there is less report on the distribution of SiCp particles in SiCp/AZ91D magnesium matrix composites by ultrasonic testing methods at home and abroad.

Magnesium matrix composites as interesting HIDAMETS
Metal matrix composites, made of Mg or Mg-2wt.%Si matrices reinforced with C or SiC long fibres, were processed by gas-pressure infiltration. Such composites are an advantageous solution for developing light metallic materials, which exhibit simultaneously good mechanical properties and a high damping capacity.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...
