Magnetic configurations in nanostructured Co2MnGa thin film elements
The magnetic configuration of nanostructured elements fabricated from thin films of the Heusler compound Co _2 MnGa was determined by high-resolution x-ray magnetic microscopy, and the magnetic properties of continuous Co _2 MnGa thin films were ...

Magnetic Anisotropy in Single Crystals: A Review
Empirical relationships between magnetic fabrics and deformation have long served as a fast and efficient way to interpret rock textures. Understanding the single crystal magnetic properties of all minerals that contribute to the magnetic anisotropy of a

Magnetic Anisotropy of a Single Cobalt Nanoparticle
Using a new microSQUID set-up, we investigate magnetic anisotropy in a single 1000-atoms cobalt cluster. This system opens new fields in the characterization and the understanding of the origin of magnetic anisotropy in such nanoparticles.

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Modified magnetic anisotropy at LaCoO3/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 interfaces
Controlling magnetic anisotropy is an important objective towards engineering novel magnetic device concepts in oxide electronics. In thin film manganites, magnetic anisotropy is weak and it is primarily determined by the substrate, through induced ...

Second order perturbed Heisenberg Hamiltonian of Fe3O4 ultra-thin films
Due to the wide range of applications, theoretical models of Fe3O4 films are found to be important. Ultra thin Fe3O4 films with ferrite structure have been theoretically investigated using second order perturbed modified Heisenberg Hamiltonian.

A spin group (SG)‐based mechanism is proposed to realize a single pair of Weyl points. PT‐symmetric nodal lines (NLs) persist under T‐breaking, protected by the combination of SG and P symmetry. When considering spin‐orbit coupling, the SG‐protected NL will split into Weyl points, which will also induce anomalous transport phenomena arising from ...

Impurity induced enhancement of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in Fe/MgO tunnel junctions
Using first-principles calculations, we investigated the impact of chromium (Cr) and vanadium (V) impurities on the magnetic anisotropy and spin polarization in Fe/MgO magnetic tunnel junctions.
