Cell Injection Millirobot Development and Evaluation in Microfluidic Chip

open access: yesMicromachines, 2018
We propose an innovative design of millirobot, which can achieve donor cell suction, delivery, and injection in a mammalian oocyte on a microfluidic chip.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Characteristics of the magnetic control of separable ferrous impurities contained in raw construction materials [PDF]

open access: yesИнженерно-строительный журнал, 2013
Currency of using the method of magnetic control of ferrous impurities for construction materials was noted. Especially it is important because of magnetic separators which are widely used for elimination of these impurities.

Zinc oxide/graphene oxide nanocomposites efficiently inhibited cadmium-induced hepatotoxicity via releasing Zn ions and up-regulating MRP1 expression

open access: yesEnvironment International, 2022
Environmental cadmium (Cd) pollution has been verified to associated with various hepatic diseases, as Cd has been classified as one of the TOP 20 Hazardous Substances and liver is the main target of Cd poisoning.

Magnetic attitude control for satellites [PDF]

open access: yes2004 43rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37601), 2004
In this paper it is proven that three-axis stabilization of satellites using magnetorqers is uniformly globally asymptotically stable (UGAS). The application of Matrosovs theorem allows for removal of the assumption that the geomagnetic (internal and external) field is periodic in order to establish this stability result.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

An intra-shot tool for ramp-up optimization with experiments on MAST-U

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
The interest in fast and robust scenario design tools is increasing more and more in view of the operation of future large tokamaks like ITER. In fact, an efficient design procedure can reduce costs and risks, and, in particular, a well designed ramp-up ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
