Optimal Design and Development of Magnetic Field Detection Sensor for AC Power Cable

open access: yesSensors
The state detection of power cables is very important to ensure the reliability of the power supply. Traditional sensors are mostly based on electric field detection. The operation is complex, and its efficiency needs to be improved. This paper optimizes

Calculation of Reactances for Ring Windings to Toroidal Inductors of Hybrid Induction Machine

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2009
The linear induction motors of hybrid structure have a series of particularities and their most precise estimation of practical flows and outlets has a high level of complexity, especially due to the different form of inductor.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Maximizing Output Power Using a Magnetic Energy Harvesting System Considering the Relationship Between Harvesting Time and Induced Voltage Due to a Change of Airgap

open access: yesIEEE Access
Power transmission lines are equipped with various electronic devices, including power line inspection robots, safety sensors, and monitoring systems. However, providing power to devices installed on these lines often requires extensive construction and ...

Core influence on the frequency response analysis (FRA) of power transformers through the finite element method

open access: yesIngeniería e Investigación, 2015
In this paper the influence of core parameters in Frequency Response Analysis is analyzed through the equivalent circuit impedance matrix of the transformer winding; the parameters of the circuit have been computed using the Finite Element Method.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
