Incommensurate nodes in the energy spectrum of weakly coupled antiferromagnetic Heisenberg ladders
Heisenberg ladders are investigated using the bond-mean-field theory [M.Azzouz, Phys. Rev. B 48, 6136 (1993)]. The zero inter-ladder coupling energy gap, the uniform spin susceptibility and the nuclear magnetic resonance spin-relaxation rate are ...

Probing Axions with Radiation from Magnetic Stars [PDF]
Recent experiments suggest that polarized photons may couple significantly to pseudoscalar particles such as axions. We study the possible observational signatures of axion-photon coupling for radiation from magnetic stars, with particular focus on ...

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Gyrotropic birefringence via electromagnon resonance in a multiferroic of spin origin
We investigate the gyrotropic birefringence (GB) that is a light-propagation-direction-dependent nonreciprocal response of birefringence, arising from the dynamical magnetoelectric coupling in a multiferroic manganite with spin-cycloid order in terms of ...
