Electric Dipole Moment of Magnetic Monopole [PDF]
The electric dipole moment of magnetic monopoles with spin is studied in the N=2 supersymmetric gauge theory. The dipole moments of the electric charge distributions, as well as the dipole moments due to the magnetic currents, are calculated. The contribution of charge distribution of the fermion to the gyroelectric ratio is expressed by using zeta(3).

Near-threshold bound states of the dipole-dipole interaction [PDF]
We study the two-body bound states of a model Hamiltonian that describes the interaction between two field-oriented dipole moments. This model has been used extensively in many-body physics of ultracold polar molecules and magnetic atoms, but its few-body physics has been explored less fully.

Giant Skyrmions Stabilized by Dipole-Dipole Interactions in Thin Ferromagnetic Films
Motivated by a recent magnetization reversal experiment on a TbFeCo thin film, we study a topological excitation in the anisotropic nonlinear sigma model together with the Zeeman and magnetic dipole-dipole interactions.

A Close Look at the Local Structure of Functional Polymers: The Example of Poly(Vinylidene Fluoride)
To accurately develop structure‐property relationships in functional macromolecules, it is increasingly important to consider the local chain arrangement in addition to long‐range order. It is demonstrated in the case of poly(vinylidene fluoride) that solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy can provide detailed insights into the local

Vector-meson magnetic dipole moment effects in radiative tau decays
We study the possibility that the magnetic dipole moment of light charged vector mesons could be measured from their effects in \tau^- --> V^-\nu_{\tau}\gamma decays.

On triple focusing dipole magnets [PDF]
Abstract We present a general, paraxial study of triple focusing (i.e., stigmatic and non-dispersive) index-free dipole magnets. The transcendental equations which describe such magnets lead to a second-degree polynomial equation which we solve analytically. The two solutions of this equation correspond to magnets having either one or no intermediate

Novel conjugated polymers with side‐chain π‐conjugation are developed to enhance organic thermoelectric properties. Remarkably, the pendant doping in the conjugated polymers preserved strong intermolecular ordering in the film states even at high FeCl3 dopant concentrations (16 – 32 mM), achieving a promising power factor > 10 µW m−1 K−2 across a wide ...

SGR 0418+5729: a small inclination angle resulting in a not so low dipole magnetic field?
The spin down behaviors of SGR 0418+5729 are investigated. The pulsar spin down model of Contopoulos & Spitkovsky (2006) is applied to SGR 0418+5729. It is shown that SGR 0418+5729 lies below the pulsar death line and its rotation-powered magnetospheric ...

Near‐Infrared Circularly Polarized Electroluminescence with Switchable Handedness in Organic LEDs
The first fully‐organic circularly polarized near‐infrared OLED, using a co‐assembled active layer of ITIC and a chiral inducer, exhibits dissymmetry values up to 0.074 and 1.65 Wsr−1m−2 radiance. The circular polarization sign can be switched by manipulating the position of the recombination zone, resulting in enhanced device performance and stability.
