Destroying the superfluid state of fermionic atoms by the magnetic field in Feshbach resonance experiments [PDF]
We show that the superfluid state (SF) of fermionic atoms exist only for the magnetic fields lesser than the critical magnetic field. This critical magnetic field is determined by the equality of the Zeeman energy splitting for atoms with different spin projections to the energy gap of fermionic atoms without a magnetic field.

RhoA and Rac1 as Mechanotransduction Mediators in Colorectal Cancer
Analysing RhoA and Rac1 protein levels in Colorectal cancer (CRC) samples under mechanical strain highlights their potential as diagnostic markers. Monitoring their activity could offer valuable insights into how cancer spreads, paving the way for new approaches to better understand and diagnose colorectal cancer.

Magnetic field dependent impact ionization in InSb [PDF]
Carrier generation by impact ionization and subsequent recombination under the influence of magnetic field has been studied for InSb slab. A simple analytic expression for threshold electric field as a function of magnetic field is proposed. Impact ionization is suppressed by magnetic field.

The Regulation of Trace Metal Elements in Cancer Ferroptosis
The induction of ferroptosis inhibits tumor growth, enhances anticancer efficacy, and overcomes drug resistance. Recent evidence shows nonferrous metal elements play a role in ferroptosis. This review focuses on how trace metals regulate ferroptosis processes like iron accumulation, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant defense.

Mechanisms of De‐icing by Surface Rayleigh and Plate Lamb Acoustic Waves
Ice accretion impacts daily life, renewable energy generation, maintenance, and security in industries and aeronautics. Acoustic waves (AW) are a promising method for ice removal, although de‐icing mechanisms require further investigation to optimize energy efficiency.

Mechanical metamaterials capable of compressive stiffness tunability, shape morphing, and post‐fabrication modularity. Herein, the 3D unit cell design is based on an assembly of bistable von Mises trusses that exhibit a switch in compressive stiffness and resting height from one stable state to the other.
