Measuring a Magnetic Field via Magnetic Location
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics, 2020A way of measuring magnetic fields is proposed that is based on the magnetic location technique and uses a ferromagnetic ball as a probe. A correction to the coefficient of proportionality between the measured values of the ball’s magnetization and an external magnetic field is calculated using experimental data.

Measurement accuracy in shielded magnetic fields
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2005Abstract The measurement error due to both the probe size averaging effect and the coil arrangement is investigated when magnetic field measurements are performed in close proximity to different planar shields. The analysis is carried on through a hybrid FEM/BEM model which employs the “thin shield” technique.

Measurements of Magnetic Fields
Symposium - International Astronomical Union, 1971It is demonstrated that certain interrelations between the Stokes parameters are much less dependent on line formation than generally expected. Thus the dependence of these parameters on the magnetic field may be made more explicit and may lead to reliable calibration of polarimetric measurements in terms of magnetic field.

This chapter discusses properties of the probes for RF magnetic field measurements and in particular, the factors limiting the measurement accuracy. Our considerations are limited to a probe consisting of a circular loop antenna loaded with a detector of a shaped frequency response.

Magnetic stray field measurement of magnetic specimen
2016 6th International Electric Drives Production Conference (EDPC), 2016The production of electromagnetic actuators is a complex procedure with a great number of potential influences on the process and hence the quality of the final product itself. The necessity for an in-line magnetic production system which allows an efficient monitoring of the magnetic properties of work pieces at different stages of the production ...

Magnetic-field measurements using an integrated resonant magnetic-field sensor
Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 1998The present paper introduces a magnetic-field sensor based on a resonating single-crystal silicon structure. The excitation of the resonator is achieved by the Lorentz force generated by a sinusoidal current flowing through a rectangular coil deposited on the surface of the structure.

Electric Vehicle Magnetic Field Measurement
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1993<div class="htmlview paragraph">The magnetic field generated by electric vehicles are the subject of public concern. Preliminary spot measurement results confirm that electric vehicles generate transient magnetic fields which may be quantified with appropriate instrumentation.

Magnetic Field Measurement for Electromagnetic Flowmeters
Physics in Medicine & Biology, 1966A method is described for the measurement of magnetic fields in electromagnetic flowmeters and the relevance of this measurement to their design is indicated. An account is given of the principles involved and of the circuit used. Some other methods for magnetic field measurement are briefly discussed.

Measuring nuclear magnetization in strong magnetic fields
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2003Abstract Al nuclear magnetization has been measured in magnetic fields up to 100 kOe , by use of a capacitive Faraday magnetometer installed in a dilution refrigerator. The sample employed was an Al0.98Si0.02 alloy prepared from high purity (6N) elements.
