Comprehensive analysis on the magnetic field error of a K–Rb–21Ne comagnetometer with low-frequency bias magnetic field sensitivity

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2023
The spin-exchange relaxation-free comagnetometer (SERFC) is of important research value compared to existing high-precision gyroscopes because of its extremely high theoretical limit sensitivity and long-term stability, in which one significant limiting ...

Comparing magnetic field extrapolations with measurements of magnetic loops [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics, 2005
We compare magnetic field extrapolations from a photospheric magnetogram with the observationally inferred structure of magnetic loops in a newly developed active region. This is the first time that the reconstructed 3D-topology of the magnetic field is available to test the extrapolations.

Analysis of Magnetic Field Measurements for Indoor Positioning

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Infrastructure-free magnetic fields are ubiquitous and have attracted tremendous interest in magnetic field-based indoor positioning. However, magnetic field-based indoor positioning applications face challenges such as low discernibility, heterogeneous devices, and interference from ferromagnetic materials.

Paramagnetic Rim Lesions Are Associated With Trans‐Synaptic Degeneration of the Visual Pathway in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Retrograde trans‐synaptic degeneration (rTSD) from posterior visual pathway lesions in multiple sclerosis (MS) is characterized by hemi‐macular ganglion cell‐inner plexiform layer (GCIPL) thinning and contralateral visual field loss.

On Measuring Divergence for Magnetic Field Modeling

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2020
Abstract A physical magnetic field has a divergence of zero. Numerical error in constructing a model field and computing the divergence, however, introduces a finite divergence into these calculations. A popular metric for measuring divergence is the average fractional flux

A Method of Critical Magnetic-Field Measurement for High-Field Superconductors in Pulsed Magnetic Fields [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Physics, 1966
A high magnetic-field magnetization technique has been devised which allows rapid measurement of superconducting to normal transition fields (Hc2*) for bulk high-field superconductors in pulsed magnetic fields up to 200 kG. Values of Hc2* so obtained are in good agreement with those obtained by resistive techniques.

Normal‐Appearing White Matter Injury Mediates Chronic Deep Venous Hypoxia and Disease Progression in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

Measurement of Magnetic Field in Dentistry

open access: yesCollegium antropologicum, 2000
The principal objective was to measure the magnetic fields occurring in dental surgeries at simultaneous subtraction of direct ground component of the magnetic field. A specifically designed instrument with the Hall probe was used for the measurement. It consisted of two amplifiers and a low frequency filter.
